Rebirth of minimalistic PERFECTION

Hermes autumn/winter 2014-15, ready to wear

It's been a long time since 1992 and Sharon Stone's appealing appearance in that minimalistic 90's chic chrisp white dress. And not only the dress was styled to perfection but whole Basic Instinc clothing style. Twenty two years later, and we're witnessing the rebirth of that minimalistic simplicity. Many designers were drawn by this look, but Hermes was one of the few who nailed it.

Thanks to beautiful woolen coats, oversized suits reaching perfection and neutral soft colors, you get that feeling that models, who wore the collection, looked like they came straight from ocean beaches of Bretagne and south France. Wrapped up in luxurious pieces they're strong, yet they let themselves dream a bit, just like us, who will dream about this collection until next autumn fall where we expect from Hermes to thrill us with another masterpiece collection.

Huge inspiration alert!: Welcome to California

Huge inspiration alert! The colors, the combination of white and light blue...ah to die for. I'm biggest fan of navy and simplicity, so when i saw this editorial, i knew i was in heaven. And when you add the natural materials (such as cotton, silk..etc) to simplicity and classic you know you're on the right track.

Plus there is something sooo sexy in all this simplicity and effortless.....something tells me this inspiration won't hold me only this summer, but to the rest of my life.

Veliko inspiracijsko upozorenje! Boje, kombinacija bele i svetlo plave....ah za umreti! Ja sam najveci fan mornarskog i jednostavnosti...kad sam videla ovaj editorijal, znala sam da sam u raju. A kada dodate prirodne materijale (poput pamuka, svile...) jednostavnosti i klasici znate da ste na pravom putu.

Plus ima necega takooo sexy u svoj ovoj jednostavnosti i nemarljivosti...nesto mi govori da me ova inspiracija nece drzati samo ovo leto, vec do kraja mog zivota.

Gucci: Forever Now (with Charlotte Casiraghi)

When you put together one of the most beautiful fashion brands and one of the most beautiful girls, you can get nothing else but a pure perfection. But this brand and this girl go beyond the beauty. Both have style, grace, and they both have the x factor. 

Ravishing granddaughter of famous Grace Kelly, once again stood in front of the camera, of famous photographer Peter Lindbergh. With a long wavy hair, falling down naturally and a silky scarf in petroleum color, streaked with red lines, tied around her head, Charlotte represented the "new Gucci look" for this this season, when it comes to fashion for riding. Opposite from spring/summer 2012 fashion trend- Candy trend (pastel colors wrapped up in romance), Frida Giannini (Gucci's creative director) gave us royal rock chic by putting the dark red jacket over the black turtleneck, that Charlotte wears in this new campaign.

And royal rock chic it is. When Gucci decided to work with princess Casiraghi, only the best could come out of that. Their first collaboration was very successful, so they continued... and now, after two years, they gave us, once again, one of the best sport campaigns. 

"She not only embodies the beauty and the grace of the equestrian, but is also a wonderful ambassador for the sport. While designing her riding wardrobe, I have gained an appreciation for her innate ability to combine family traditions with a uniquely modern attitude... Charlotte brings the spirit of Gucci to life so elegantly"- said Frida.  

The new 'Forever Now' campaign will appear worldwide from March 7. 

Kada spojite jedan od najlepših modnih brendova i jednu od najlepših devojaka, dobićete ništa drugo  nego čisto savršenstvo. Ali ovaj brend i ova devojka prevazilaze lepotu. Oboje imaju stil, gracioznost, i oboje imaju x faktor.

Zanosna unuka čuvene Grejs Keli, ponovo je stala pred foto kameru čuvenog fotografa Piter Lindberga. Sa dugom talasastom kosom, koja pada prirodno i svilenksatom maramom petrolej boje, protkane crvenim linijama, vezane oko njene glave, Šarlot je predstavila novi "Guči izgled" za ovu sezonu, kada je jahanje u pitanju. Suprotno od modnog trenda za proleće/leto 2012 - "Candy" trenda (pastelne boje obmotane romantikom), Frida Đanini (kreativni direktor Gučija), dala nam je kraljevski rok šik, stavljanjem bordo crvenog blejzera preko crne rolke, koju Šarlot nosi u novok kampanji.

Kraljevski rok šik i jeste. Kada je Guči odlučio da radi sa princezom Kaziragi, samo najbolje je moglo  proisteći iz toga. Njihova prva saradnja je bila veoma uspešna, pa su nastavili sa njom...i sada, nakon dve godine, dali su nam jednu od najboljih sportskih kampanji.

"Ona ne samo da otelotvoruje lepotu i gracioznost konjanice, ali je takođe i divna ambasadorka sporta. Dok sam dizajnirala njinu odeću za jahanje, stekla sam zahvalnost prema njenoj urođenoj sposobnosti za kombinovanje porodičnih tradicija sa jedinstveno modernim stavom... Šarlot unosi duh Gučija u život tako elegantno" - rekla je Frida

It's Christmas in Prada already

Since you can't start decorating your Christmas tree, you can start decorating yourselves.

So if you're starting why not start from the top?! It won't be the "regular" - calming start, it will be the "boom" start! Why? For the next 2012 year, Prada gave us bulky, sparkly, flower-ish jewelry to keep us warm in our cold days. We have large bracelet-shaped petals with red gems. Lea Seydoux (french model/actress), the face of this campaign, is wearing oversize, shiny necklaces with black, white, pale pink and green roses in the center, and same earrings. When it comes to the hair accessories, we have the gorgeous roses wrapped up in sparkly gems, just like the jewelry.

If we're talking about the famous Prada bags: leather purses and clutches, in all the colors of Christmas, will be watching you from top fashion magazines, Prada stores or, if you're lucky enough, from closets at your apartments. Pale red, dark green, dark red, or the ultimate Carrie Bradshaw - golden bag?...it's up to you. Just put a little bit of your edginess and you're ready to go!

Kada su u pitanju dodaci za kosu, imamo predivne ruže obmotane sjajnim draguljima, bas kao i nakit.

Ako pričamo o čuvenim Prada torbama: kožne tašne i torbice u svim bojama Božićca će vas gledati iz najboljih modnih magazina, Prada prodavnica ili, ako imate sreće, iz plakara u vašim stanovima. Bledo crvena, tamno zelena , tamno crvena, ili ultimativna Carrie Bradshaw - zlatna torbica?...na vama je izbor. Samo dodajte malo vašeg stila, i spremni ste!

New Old Prada

 Šta je novije nego videti onu dobru, staru Pradu! Pa dobro, što se odeće tiče,  i nije toliko stara, ali kada je u pitanju stil, Prada je definitivno zadržala onaj stari sjaj.
Moram priznati da me i nije toliko oduševila, koliko je mogla. Ovoga puta onu tešku, zimsku atmosferu zamenila je svežina. U zimu je uneto proleće...morsko proleće.

What’s newer than to see a good, old Prada! Well, if we’re talking about clothing, then it’s not that old, but when it comes to style, Prada has definitely retained the old glory.
I must admit that she didn’t thrilled me so much, as she could. This time, that heavy, winter atmosphere was replaced by freshness. In winter was added spring ...sea spring.

Menjaju vunene džempere za krute materijale svetle boje. Duge , teške kapute za neke kraće, prekrivene prijatnim krznom. Lagane, svilene majice, kao krem se prelivaju preko tela, dajući onu notu prozračnosti koja nam je svima bila potrebna ove godine. I naravno, ono najneobičnije, tipično za Pradu, jesu kaputi od krljušti! U pitanju, naravno, nije prava krljušt, već komadići plastike, koji odaju utisak da su u pitanju modeli presvučeni ribljom kožom. Ribljom kožom boje bakra, zlata, sveže trave, jarkog sunca, i izbledele ruže.

They change wool cardigans for stiff materials of solid bright colors. Long, heavy coats for shorter ones, covered with nice fur. Lightweight, silk shirts, are flowing over the body like cream, giving that one special touch of lightness, we all needed this year. And of course, the most unusual, but typical for Prada, are the coats of scales! It is, certainly, not the real scale, but parts of plastic, which give the impression that these are models covered with fish skin. Fish skin color of copper, gold, fresh grass, bright sunshine, and faded rose.

 

Kada su u pitanju torbe, među dizajnerima, Prada je prva uvela torbe od zmijske i naborane kože. Zanimljivo.

When it comes to handbags and bags, betwen designer, Prada is the first one who brings us bags of snake and wrinkled skin. Interesting.

Crvene štikle od somota će vas definitivno vratiti u vreme Oza, dok će vas zmijske potpetice, kao i čizme naterati da se prošetate gradom sa stavom Šeron Stoun iz Niskih Strasti.

Red velvet heels will definitely return you to „Oz“ times, while snakeskin heels and boots will make you walk around town with that attitude of Sharon Stone from „Basic Instincts“.   

Nisam mogla da ostanem ravnodušna ni prema nežno plavim plišanim čarapama, koje će ove sezone grejati ne samo naše noge, već i naša srca. A tu si i krupne avijatorske naočare u boji bakra, kao i kapice u avijatorskom stilu u krem roze boji. A za one željne zabave i hrabrije, Prada donosi kape slične avijatorskim, sa šljaštećim krznom na glavi.

I could not remain indifferent to the gentle, blue, velvet stockings, which, this season, will not only warm our feet, but also our hearts. And we also have big aviator glasses, colored cooper and caps in aviator style, in cream pink color. And for those who are looking for fun and who are bolder, Prada brings aviator caps with shiny fur on top.
