Rebirth of minimalistic PERFECTION

Hermes autumn/winter 2014-15, ready to wear

It's been a long time since 1992 and Sharon Stone's appealing appearance in that minimalistic 90's chic chrisp white dress. And not only the dress was styled to perfection but whole Basic Instinc clothing style. Twenty two years later, and we're witnessing the rebirth of that minimalistic simplicity. Many designers were drawn by this look, but Hermes was one of the few who nailed it.

Thanks to beautiful woolen coats, oversized suits reaching perfection and neutral soft colors, you get that feeling that models, who wore the collection, looked like they came straight from ocean beaches of Bretagne and south France. Wrapped up in luxurious pieces they're strong, yet they let themselves dream a bit, just like us, who will dream about this collection until next autumn fall where we expect from Hermes to thrill us with another masterpiece collection.

Balmain Resort 2012

FLuksuzno-opustena kolekcija za 2012. od Olivier Rousteing-a. Ovaj momak od samo 25 godina radio je kao asistent kod Christophe Decarnin-a u cuvenoj francuskoj, modnoj kuci Balmain. U ovaj boemsko-renesanski stil koji odise stavom I glamurom, ali sa dozom opustenosti, uneto je osvezenje. Juzno Americki povetarac, sa prizvukom indijanskog stila “krasi” kolekciju predvidjenu za narednu, 2012., godinu.

Luxury-casual collection for 2012th from Olivier Rousteing. This young guy, with only 25 yeras, has worked as an assistent with Christophe Decarnin in famous, french, fashion house Balmain. In this bohemian-renaissance style, that exudes style and glamour, but with a touch of negligence, the refreshment is brought. Latin American breeze, with a hint of Indian style, is characterizing the collection intended for the next, 2012th, year.

The kiss!

Posmatram dve slike. Vidim žene obučene u bajkovite haljine, optočene dragim kamenjem. Ukrasi u kosi, preliveni zlatom. Bakarne narukvice, ukrašene draguljima I dijamantima, pristaju kao salivene na njihovim nežnim, belim rukama. Savršena lica krasi šminka, koja kao da je naneta kistom.

I’m looking at two pictures. I see women dressed in fabulous dresses, studded with gemstones. Ornaments in their hair, coated with gold. Copper bracelets, adorned with jewels and diamonds, fit perfectly on their soft, white hands. Make up, which seems to be applied by brush, adorning perfect faces.

Razlika jeste što je prva slika zaista urađena kistom I bojama. Prva slika je slika Gustava Klimta, velikog majstora u pogledu slikarstva. Slika poljubac. The difference is that the first picture is really done with brush and paints. The first picture is the painting by Gustav Klimt, the great master in terms of art. The painting named “The kiss”. Iako je Karl inspiraciju pronašao u zanosnoj Vizantijskoj kulturi I zapanjujućoj carici Teodori, mene je kolekcija podsetila na veličanstvenog Klimta. Although Karl found his inspiration in a gorgeous Byzantine culture and stunning Byzantine Empress Theodora, this collection reminded me of great Klimt.
